Once a year, IOLCC invites dollmakers from all over the country and internationally to exhibit at the Dimensions in Dollmaking Exhibit. The theme the 2005 show was Fabric Fantasies. This year we had 63 amazing dolls entered in the exhibit, and we truly achieved our goal by dazzling the viewers! Congratulations to ALL our 2005 participants!

2005 Judge's Choice Award: "Irina Liette" by Lucy Garvin; Best Theme Interpretation : "Natasha, Dressing for the Fairy Ball" by Barbara Chapman; Best Original : "Walter at the Horse Sale " by Linda Ewing; Best Adaptation of a Pattern: "Zeba at the Oasis " by Mona Ledwin; Viewers Choice Award: "Katherine" by Georgia Milan; Runner up for Best Theme Interpretation : "Sewing Elf " by Joyce Patterson; Runner up for Best Adaptaion of a Pattern : "Welcome to Diva Island " by Natalie Hamade; Runner up for Best Original: "Archmage" by Debra Tomcik; Runner up for Viewers Choice: "Natasha, Dressing for the Fairy Ball" by Barbara Chapman; Runner up for Judge's Choice: "Serenity" by Lidija Fairbanks.

Our judge was Karen Wooten, one of the founding members of IOLCC and several times past president. We thank her for her time and insight. Karen had a tough job with the number of dolls she had to judge.

Our next Dimensions in Dollmaking will take place in August 2006. Interested in joining us? Grab an info packet here.
